1. How to reach us
Email jcheng73@126.com from the Apple ID you use with BoletoNeo. Please include the iOS version and a short description of what you tapped. We do not have a copy of your pages, so we cannot see your journal from our side.
2. The five drawers
- Desk — today’s page and recent memories
- Archive — past pages, filters and bookmarks
- Write — compose, photograph, speak, then seal
- Souvenirs — streak keepsakes
- Identity — bookplate, ink supply, lock and burn
3. Writing and sealing
Add a feeling or a few words, then tap Seal. You can:
- Save page — free, no writing assistant
- Page Sealed — spends 20 ink drops, suggests a title and a reflection
If binding fails, your page is still saved and drops are not spent. Use Retry beside the seal when you have enough ink. You may keep several pages on the same day. Edit a sealed page from its detail sheet; generating again costs another 20 drops.
4. Voice ink
Under the writing field, tap the copper microphone or the line Speak into the page. Speak, then tap the same row to stop. Allow Microphone and Speech Recognition when iOS asks. If dictation never starts, open Settings → BoletoNeo and turn those permissions on. A pause of several seconds also ends listening. Voice ink fills the body of the page, not the title.
5. Photos
The dashed camera on the Heart & Mind page attaches pictures. You may add up to nine per page: several from the library, or one at a time from the camera. Photos stay in the app unless you export. If the picker is blocked, grant Camera or Photos in Settings, then try again.
6. Cycle notes and care habits
On the body page you can set cycle length and period length as a private reference — it is not medical advice. Feeling words such as Tender or Cramps can be saved with the page. Care habits are ink-drop check-ins you name yourself (up to eight enabled). Manage them from Write.
7. Archive, bookmarks and souvenirs
Archive ribbons filter by all pages, bookmarks, photos, or a feeling. Bookmark a page from its detail view. Souvenirs unlock as your writing streak grows. They are keepsakes on this device, not store purchases.
8. Exporting a page
From a page, export to create an image. You can save it to the album (Photos permission) or share it with the system sheet. At most three photos from that page appear on the export.
9. Ink drops and the Stationery drawer
Open Identity → Ink Supply, or follow an insufficient-ink prompt after Seal. Packs are consumable App Store items. A first unlock on this device may grant 60 welcome drops.
If a pack does not credit:
- Wait on the Stationery page until the wax seal settles
- Confirm you are signed into the App Store with the purchasing Apple ID
- Check Screen Time or Ask to Buy restrictions
- Consumable ink cannot be restored like a subscription — contact us with the approximate time of purchase if drops never arrived
10. Lock Journal and Burn Journal
Lock Journal closes the copper lock. Pages, drops and settings stay on the device; you unlock again to write.
Burn Journal permanently deletes every page, photo, bookmark, cycle note, habit, souvenir and ink record on this device. It cannot be undone. There is no cloud backup.
11. Reduce Motion
Identity → Reduce Motion turns off decorative animation (floating figures, ink lines, stamps). Layout and writing are unchanged.

13. Pages feel missing
Because the journal is local, a new install, a new device, or Burn Journal starts empty. iCloud backup of the app, if you use it, is controlled by Apple — we do not operate a restore server. Check Archive filters (Bookmarked, Photos, a feeling) if a page is hidden on the ribbon.
